Waseem Bahra is a Syrian-American writer whose work has appeared in The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature (as M.B. Effendi), The Book Ends Review, Meniscus Literary Journal, and Poet’s Choice Magazine. A revised edition of his short story On the Bus was published as a standalone book, including Spanish and Arabic translations. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Rhode Island.
